It’s certainly been a gooey one this season and we’d like to say what an absolute pleasure it’s been to goo with so many of you.
Having been smashed, pulped, strapped to fireworks, and blown up (to name just a few gooey incidents) we’re all egg-shausted. We’ve had a great time and now we’ve got a lot of clearing up to do after our Easter egg-stravaganza. So this is it. It’s farewell from the 2009 batch - we hope next season’s eggs are just as gooey – maybe even more so.
By the way, if you do see any stray 09 Eggs around, please help them get their goo out – it’d be a shame if they never did. I know we can count on you.
Goo’dbye from all of us
The 2009 batch.

Many of you have egg-spressed a concern that Creme Eggs are getting smaller.
Well fear not, because we’ve spoken to the egg-spurts at Cadbury and while they
say there are different sizes and flavours (orange for one) all around the
world, they won’t get any smaller here. We know you love us just the way we are.
Keep up the goo’d work.

Well, here we are, at the gooiest day of the year, the day all Creme Eggs look forward to, more than any other. It’s goo-ing to get messy and we want you all to join in. So if you’ve been saving a few for a special occasion, this is the time to goo them.
Splat us, mash us, whack us or bash us - however you want to goo our brothers and sisters to celebrate, is entirely up to you. So Happy Easter goonies, we hope you’ll goo for it just one more time, because as you know, we’ll be gone from tomorrow.
But let’s not be sad – let’s goo out with a bang and a splat.

Whoopee, we’ve got the day off! Now we’re getting ready for the best day of the year:
Easter – The day when everybody celebrates the egg. Some of us have egg-sploded with excitement already. There’s a real sense of egg-spectation this year.

Goo’d News everyone. The Creme Egg McFlurry is back at McDonald’s and it’s gooier than ever. We heard that a lot of you wanted it back, so
here it is but you’d better be quick, it’s not egg-spected to be around for very long.

Celebrities have famously tried some unusual ingredients in the quest for the perfect skin – from 18-carat gold facials to one rumoured favourite, nightingale droppings. 2009 however is set to start a trend for another unusual facial ingredient: Cadbury Creme Egg ‘Goo’. In recent clinical trials, beauty experts have found that the sugar-rich ‘goo’ fondant in Cadbury Creme Eggs has a surprisingly positive effect on the skin. The ingredient is already being incorporated into facial treatments in salons across London, and full anti-ageing facial treatments are expected to be offered from the beginning of April.
Researchers at the London Academy of Beauticians tested a wide range of different foods, from soup to sticky toffee, on the faces of women of all ages and found that the fondant creme inside the Easter treat came out top, smoothing out wrinkles on women of all ages, and visibly illuminating the skin if taken from the fridge and pasted on the face for fifteen minutes.
Beauty scientists discovered that enzymes are released when the fondant is applied cold, causing the pores to un-clog and the skin to appear plumper and glowing when washed off.
Dr Eggerton at the London Academy of Beauticians commented: ‘In our quest to find the perfect anti-ageing ingredient, we try out a huge range of substances, from guano to supermarket food ingredients on the skin. We were extremely surprised by these findings, as we never expected Cadbury Creme Egg ‘Goo’ to have such a beneficial effect on the skin.”
Jodie Bates, Brand Manager, Cadbury said: “We are as surprised as anyone by the findings, but we have delivered a shipment of Creme Eggs to some of the leading salons in London, and we’re eagerly awaiting the feedback on the treatments. We’re hoping that since the ingredient is not expensive, the ‘Goo facial’ will present a credit crunch alternative to the usual expensive facial treatments. That said, always consult a skin specialist or beauty consultant before beginning any new treatment"

Happy April Fool’s day to all our egg-spurts. We love a goo’d prank so here’s one we think you can do quickly and easily:
Take a small sticky notepad and place it over the eye of your victim’s computers mouse. When they try to use their computer, the cursor won’t move. Be sure to write “April Fools!” on the note! (Note - if they have a standard mouse, you can perform the same trick by taping a piece of paper over the ball underneath the mouse)
